WOW . What a wake up call for Many
After many yrs of working in the Social Service this song could not some it up any better. All I can say is I hope it wakes up the people it needs and becomes a song that speak out for the children who can not.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JMC!!
WOW! I recently bought JMC's CD and can't take it out of my CD player! It's one of those I can just play over and over again because each song is so different... His rich voice and sweet personality that come through in his music, along with that undeniable sex appeal, make him incredibly intriguing. This is one of the best CDs ever made... There are so many potenial top 10 songs that could come off of it (Hopefully "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead" or "Lookin' at You" will come out next!). It's so good to see things falling into place for him. I will be at the concert in Grand Rapids in November and CAN'T WAIT! I hope to meet him in person. He is truly an amazing artist and I hope to hear more from him for years and years to come!!! Keep it up Jason!! By the way, I LOVE your smile!

Soulful and Warm
Wow! What a range of vocals this guy has! I was so impressed when I met him and know that he will make it big. He is a warm and humble young man. Not one song is "filler".
After finally getting to hear the studio versions (hearing them LIVE Rocks twice as much!) here on CMT.com, I have to agree that "Waitin' in the Country" is more like a "Best of..". For a freshman attempt, JMC knocked it out of the park. Personally, I was hoping to see some older tunes in the set list but with what W.i.t.C. throws at you, one can hardly complain. Every track has more than enough potential to carry a top 20 if not top 5 or better. Buy this CD!

What an artist....
I have had the pleasure of knowing JMC for about 9 years.. and have been blessed knowing his music was going to one day get the recognition it so deserves.. Jason is such a sweetheart and a dear friend. My wish is that each of you that posts a comment about his music will take the time to see him perform live. The vocal ranges he can get to are just simply amazing. He's got a beautiful smile to match that personality.. and those eyes that could melt any heart. I use to see some vehicles unloading some instruments here in my town . I ask my neighbors who is that? Now I know!!! I had a freind thats a local musician here and told me that Jason had the best voice he ever heard from around this area. Now I see what he means!!!

I cried when I heard this song. It reminds me about how importand it is to tell someone what is happoning when somthing is not the way it should be and that if you ever need help with anything go to someone and tell them. Dont think that it will go away on its own because a lot of times it wont. It will just progress and get worse. But I love this song and if anyone ever needs a song to relate to go to this song bercause it is about real life and anyone can relate even if this isnt the case. This song has so much to do with rela life. The first time I heard it my mom and i were in the cars and we both started cring and to tell you the truth...cried after i heard that song for a while. Over all the songs that have been being put out in the world...this is the best one.

Alyssa Lies is awesome
I live in El Cerrito Ca and we finally have a country station here. It is in San Francisco. First time I heard Alyssa Cries I was taking my granddaughter to work and I was crying. At first I thought he was Trace Adkins. That song should be the national anthem for child abuse. I have 7 grandchildren and thank God everydaay for them.
It is a great song and I touched my heart. Thank you Jason for being so brave.

This song is a tearjerker. Its a song that I think everyone should listen to, so then people,who don't know, could get an idea of what child abuse can do to someone.I find myself comparing this one to songs like Concrete angel and The Little Girl and I gotta say, it just might top them.And Jason's voice in Alyssa Lies is spectacular. Jason rocks! The first time I heard Alssa Lies, I went online to search for more about the artist. His bio is very interesting. JMC is a dream come true for country fans. Saw him in cocert @ local bar in Charlotte, NC. He was great, the place was packed. JMC had my attention the whole time. He sang country, rock, etc. His voice is amazing. After seeing jason in concert.....
I fisrt heard Alyssa Lies about 3 weeks ago. I too was abused as a child by my step father. This song rings true for alot of people. I recently saw Jason Michael Carroll in concert at our local bar and saloon. His connert was jam packed with energy. He kept the audience captivated. After the concert, we had a chance to meet him and get his autograph. My 9 year old daughter was not able to be there, so when it was my turn, I asked him if he would say hi to her. he not only said hi but wished her a happy birthday, which was 8 days away. Stars like him don't come along very often. Jason please don't ever become one of those stars who forget where they come from or who got them there. Your fans will respect you more for that. your a kind-hearted person with a gift you give through your music. I am now and will be a fan for years to come. God Bless You and Your Family. when i first heard this song it brought back alot of memories from when i got abused really bad but now that i hear that song it makes me want to cry. this song shows a lot of affection becuase no body needs to go through any child abuse. i found out that i was pregnant and i was going to name my daughter alyssa but now i have to change it becuz it makes me want to cry becuz i hear that song and now i am going to change it. this song means a lot to me becuz after what i went through when i was growing up, it just relates to me and everything. like i said no body should go through their lives getting abused. the song is just amazing but sad everytime i hear it on the radio i turn it up really loud and listen to it and cry but its just natural to cry when something bad happens to you. i just hope that nobody has to go through with it at all, if they do its really bad and i would give anything but to make everyone better if i could. jason did a really good song and i love it becuase it relates to me and everyone else who got abused in their lives.

The" Best New Male Country Artist" for his generation
I recently had the pleasure (and I mean pleasure) of seeing Jason perform live. He rocks the stage. If you think his cd is good, then you have to go see him in person because he is great. It has been a long time coming, as with all new and sruggling artists, but he has been worth the wait. With his energy and style mixed with that rip your heart out voice and sound, I think he is just what the new era of county music needs and fits in nicely with other new up and coming artists. This is a beautiful but sad song. I listened to it with my 22 year old son the other day and he said he didn't understand why someone would write a song like that. There is alot of truth in the song and sometimes we need to hear about stories that tear at our heartstings. It makes a person think. I can't think of anyone else that I would rather hear sing it - Jason has a beautiful voice!

The Best in Any Genre
This is without a doubt the most touching song ever written in any genre. I heard you do it at the "The Stage on Broadway' in Nashville live. If you listen to this song without welling up in tears you lost your soul.
George Strait can rest easy because there is someone equally as talented to take his place. The vocal riffs are incredible but not overdone!!!
