Makes me come alive
I was typing away a paper at 2:00 in the morning, tired and exhausted, then I hear this video on CMT and I just came back to life!! First time I had ever heard it and right off the back I loved it, then I looked at the video and fell in Love with Jake just the same.

Owen's Eleven - Wrote every song!
He wrote all 11 songs on this CD - very impressive! And every one is worthy of a top 10 rank - and 3 or 4 songs should easily go to #1--Yee Haw, Eight Second Ride, Startin' With Me, and The Bad In Me. The lyrics to every song are very personal and he sings them with great conviction. Jake makes you visualize the story with every line. Every country girl needs this CD! "Hard Not To Love You", Jake!

This CD is hot just like Jake!! His voice is dreamy and right on. Very impressed -- especially with 8 Seconds - Whooo Hooo!!! I'm buying the CD online now. Can't wait to see him live in town in a couple of weeks!!!

Awesome CD!!

Yee Haw, I love Jakes CD
I got this CD because of the song that was played on the radio "Yee Haw" and fell in love with the whole thing! Jake has a wonderful voice! I can't wait until he comes to Washington State, Jake please come soon!!!

The voice grabs you from the first line of the song
The voice is unique and catches your attention immediately. Jake's phrasing, the emotion he puts into the lyrics and the arrangements led to a very enjoyable ride. Great work, Jake!
