A real good guy
ERIC CHURCH " SINNERS LIKE ME " -2006
Eric Church is a newcomer in the country music scene, but heck ! What an album! Church belongs to this category of singers whose voices are immediately recognizable, but with a special texture and a little something that sets him apart. Moreover, the pieces are perfectly constructed and very rich like the superb "before she does" (co-written with Trent Willmon). A lot of variety in these songs, everything efficiently conducted by Aubrey Haynie (fiddle), Chris Thile (Nickel Creek) or even Dan Dugmore and many other stars ! What makes Eric's force is his melodies, the richness of his repertoire (some songs which are more or less slow and others which are faster). Let's note this great duet with Merle Haggard (needless to present) on "Pledge allegiance to the hag". Twelve songs which are really all more interesting that the others. Eric Church is a real good surprise, and we can't doubt that he'll go far. Cherry on the cake, he wrote most of his pieces himself. A real good guy !!!

Better than Jack Daniels!!!
Get rid of the bottle and get lost in this CD. I went to see Brad Paisley and came away counting the days until the release of "Sinners Like Me". Eric is a breath of fresh air. His song writing abilities are showcased for all to hear...and trust me once you hear it you won't want to find any 12 step program to get you off his wagon.

This CD is GREAT!
This CD is great, i was surprised to say the least when i first listened. I think it's awesome that he at least co-wrote every song on the CD. Pledge Allegiance to the HAG is the best song on the CD....Gotta love Ol Merle

THE BEST NEW CD THIS DECADE!!!!!!
I was already impressed with his video (How About You). But after seeing Eric live at the CMA FESTIVAL I was impressed with him enough to spend a little gas money on his newly released CD. Hoping that I would get more enjoyment than what 3 gallons of gas would get me. I am very pleased that I did. It's the best new cd that I have bought in quite sometime. I am sure that Eric will be performing on the Stadium Stage next CMA Festival. Thanks Eric. My hard earned money was well spent. PS: Hope to see you in concert in Maine.

Great country music has returned...
Finally, an artist that takes you on a journey with his songs. His music is sure to connect with most people in some way. Eric Church has taken the roots of great country music and, through years of hustle, dedication, and sweat, created an album that should stand the test of time. It is an album that can be played time and time again and never get old. Definitely, a new artist with a classic appeal and a new modern sound mixed to perfection.

NC has produced another star!!!
Once again, North Carolina has produced a hitmaker! Eric is a downhome boy who hasn't forgotten where he came from. Years of playing in our local clubs and bars has made Eric a true star. "Sinner's Like Me" is one of the best cd's I have heard in years. We are proud that Eric is from our town.

Greatest cd of the summer
Eric Church is somewhat of a newcomer to stardom, but his new cd is a surefire path to success. i know i'm wearing out the cd, blaring it while i drive through town. i've come to the conclusion that eric church is the greatest thing to come along for a long time, how 'bout you?

GRAND OLE OPRY
MY PARENTS WENT TO THE GRAND OLE OPRY IN JULY '06. EACH OF THEM CAME HOME RAVING ABOUT ERIC CHURCH. THEY HAD TO HAVE THE CD WHEN IT HIT STORES. SINCE THEN EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY HAS HAD TO HAVE THE CD. HE IS TRULY A GIFTED ARTIST (ON TOP OF BEING HOT)MORE GREAT THINGS ARE SURE TO COME FROM ERIC CHURCH. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM IN CONCERT.
