Just plain amazing
I feel like Miranda is the only female country artist who truly understands what COUNTRY MUSIC is. She sounds like she could be best friends with all of the legends, like Merle Haggard and Hank Williams, because she sings in a similar style. EVERY song on this CD is just plain amazing. She is so talented and knows how to do it right. The fact that she wrote 8 out of the 11 songs shows a lot too about her true potential I'm rooting for Miranda 150%. We gotta get her past these "idols" like Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler because they don't deserve to jump past talent like Miranda's. LOVE HER.

Wonderful!!
This CD is true Miranda! I have heard all the songs via concerts and sample listenings.
I would recommend any true music fan to purchase this CD even if they hate "country", can't imagine anyone like that. It shows off her songwritting and takes it to the next level.

i love your song crazy ex-girlfriend that is a good song for some guys to listen to because my boyfriend cheated on me and then he listened to your song and he thought what i should do is think next time. your song has told me some things that do happen if you become a crazy ex-girlfriend and that said something to me like what would my life be with a guy like that in my life. so i just thought about that song and i loved the music vidoe and that is all.

A "Must Have" Album
Miranda's sophomore album is an amazing display of talent. It is a daring and delightful collection of songs that not only display her singing talent, but also shows the soul of a songwriter. Gun Powder and Lead and Crazy Ex-girlfriend are hard and edgy music that demands you stand in the aisle and jump for joy. Head-banging music that doesn't just push the envelope to the edge, but stands balanced with one foot on the edge, with the other foot and guitar dangling over the abyss. Then, with Desperation and More Like Her, Miranda slows things down a little and shows you the other side of her soul. The band is drawn back a little letting Miranda's beautiful voice and lyrics take center stage. With Love Letters, she pays homage to her roots with a simple and beautiful country ballad. And just for a little fun, there's Dry Town. This album should be on every music lovers "must have" list.
